Janet and her children Sally, Jennifer, and Alice are on the way to the airport to pick up their military father when they are forced to take shelter from a tornado that is ravaging the area. They manage to find a storm cellar outside of a seemingly abandoned house, however once the storm stops they discover that a fallen tree is preventing them from leaving.
