Raja and Anthony are two close friends who are struggling financially. Raja is an aspiring musician, and he falls in love with Ritu, a young woman from a wealthy family. Ritu's father, Seth Tijorimal, strongly disapproves of their relationship because Raja is poor.
Meanwhile, a criminal named Dhanpat and his gang rob a bank. During the chaos, the stolen money ends up being hidden away, and eventually Raja comes across the cash without realizing where it came from. This is where his troubles begin.
Dhanpat discovers that Raja has his stolen money and becomes determined to recover it. At the same time, an honest and sharp police officer, Inspector Chanakya, begins investigating the robbery. So Raja gets caught between the criminals who want the money and the police who want to find it.
Things become much darker when Dhanpat kidnaps and kills Anthony, Raja's best friend. He then kidnaps Ritu and threatens Raja, demanding that Raja return the stolen money. Raja has to figure out how to save Ritu while also dealing with the police investigation.
Eventually, Raja and Inspector Chanakya end up working toward the same goal: rescuing Ritu and bringing Dhanpat to justice. They manage to save Ritu, and Dhanpat is arrested.
